We booked our stay at The Mountain View resort for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised. Despite it being the last room available, we had an early check-in and the entire place to ourselves until the evening. The pool was truly enjoyable, and though the bungalow we stayed in was a bit dark, it had all the necessary amenities. The owner went above and beyond with her kindness, even offering a complimentary ride to the pier the next day. They even started breakfast early for those catching the 7am boat to Ko Tao, and it was included in the fantastic value for money!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spent New Year at a budget hotel. Two key location facts: close to the pier and with a good sized pool. the owners had great customer service, as they made us a packed breakfast and even drove after us when we got lost. the pool was clean and fun, with a slide and great for relaxing.

There was a little noise at night with howling dogs and loud bangs that can disturb your sleep. the pillows and bedsheets had hair from former guests, and the shower had very little running water and the heater was not working.

Spent my xmas there and there was not much to enjoy. The room was alright, but the location was not great. The pool was pretty cool and very nice. The breakfast was quite satisfying and offered a good variety of Thai options. The staff was also pretty nice and tried to help us out with the few requests we had.

Our experience was not very good. The hotel was very far from the beach and there were no lights at night, which was dangerous.
